![]() ![]() Even though the model in question pertains more to MEP, more users are in Architecture and the issue is fundamental to the core software. We spend an appreciable amount of time creating masking regions and detail lines to make the model "cut" the way we want it to. Is this a defect in the software? It is a major headache because these towers can span through multiple levels of a project, and should show different connections on sheets with a lower view range than sheets with a higher view range. In the section you can see some dimensions showing why you shouldn't see them. I have attached a picture of a model which, in plan, shows a manway (circled in red) that should not be seen because the bottom of the view range is at 8', and the extents of the manway do not exceed 6'-6". However, the value for the cut range acts as the bottom of the view range as well because the Bottom and View Depth have no effect on how the Generic Model is displayed. Would really appreciate any kind soul to help me on this.Generic Models are supposed to be cut with the view range, and apparently only works from the cut plane and upwards. Drawing a model and nothing shows up, no line, no nothing ![]() Search Visibility settings (but all the setting is in order) Select all of the items in the model, delete it and undo. Restarting Revit by closing all Revit related files and opening them again Gridlines for Ref view can't be seen as well. Opening a new Revit file (new model & new family creation), nothing shows up. All shortcuts worked fine and visibility is checked. All the information on the drawing is invisible because when I hover my mouse over, I can totally see that the item/model is there (picture 2). It is as if that the model for Revit is invisible. Tried drawing and modelling on Revit itself, nothing shows up too. Anything other than the model (which includes all the grid lines and section and the 3D icon box that can usually be found on the top right hand corner of a model in a 3D view) can be seen. Everything else can be seen like properties box and things like that. I was just working on my model few days back and suddenly today the entire Revit turn blank (picture 1) after I have decided to save and reopen the file. Really appreciate it if anyone can help me out!! ![]() I need some help in regards to this issue that I have now on Revit as I am currently facing a deadline for the final model in 2 days time. ![]()
